Costumes, Treats and Family Fun at the Museum’s Annual “Spooky Night at the Museum”
LE MARS, Iowa – Dress up and join the fun! The Plymouth County Historical Museum’s annual “Spooky Night at the Museum” returns Saturday, October 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests can begin in the Old Central Gym, 335 1st Avenue SW, Le Mars. Admission is free.
Children and adults alike are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes as they stroll from room to room through the museum and collect treats from museum staff along the way. The museum is decorated for the season, and while the theme is spooky, the evening is a gentle, friendly, family-oriented event.
“Little ones and big kids alike can enjoy the night at their own pace,” said Jennifer Scholten, museum administrator. “It’s a festive, welcoming way to spend Halloween evening and see the museum, too.”
“Spooky Night at the Museum” is free and open to the public, and donations are always welcome. For more information, contact the Plymouth County Historical Museum at 712-546-7002 or pchmuseum@gmail.com.
