LE MARS, IA — The Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of Maggie Rechtenbaugh from part-time Administrative Assistant to full-time Marketing and Events Coordinator, effective June 1, 2026.

As the City of Le Mars continues to grow, the Chamber is also expanding its membership, programming, and member benefits. The addition of this full-time position better aligns Chamber staff roles and responsibilities with the organization’s continued growth and increasing impact within the community.

In her new role, Rechtenbaugh will lead the Chamber’s marketing and communication efforts, coordinate events, and support member engagement initiatives. Her responsibilities include managing newsletters, social media platforms, promotional materials, and branding efforts, while also highlighting member businesses and community stories. She will oversee the planning and execution of events such as Community Coffees, Ribbon Cuttings, Groundbreakings, Business After Hours, annual programs, and special initiatives, ensuring smooth logistics and strong communication to create positive experiences for attendees and members alike.
